When designs require elements that serve effectively and easily to ensure the blocking of doors and moving parts, ELESA+GANTER has all kinds of solutions for any type of application. The range of elements for the simple pressure locking of doors, in the form of a BPS ball (patented by ELESA) and the BMS and BMST snap-on pressure locks, are a very practical and safe alternative in these cases.
BPS are elements which are composed of two parts, whose locking is carried out by a clamp that is placed against the frame or fixed profile, and a ball that is fixed to the door or swinging part. They are specially designed for applications in traditional and sliding doors. The specific tests carried out have shown that BPS clamps offer constant performance for more than 20,000 cycles, which ensures the extreme resistance and longevity of that part of the installation.
Snap-on pressure locks with BMS return springs are used on swinging doors for closing and opening by pressure impact when there is a handle on the door, and if there is no handle in the design the range includes BMS-L snap-on pressure locks that are designed with levers for the quick release of latches. When the lever is locked, the maximum load before breaking the BMS locking mechanism is = 2500 N.
In the case of revolving doors, ELESA+GANTER proposes the use of the new BMST lock, which enables quick assembly in standard profiles with a T-slot with dimensions between 30 and 40mm. The range also includes the BMST-L lock with a lever for releasing the latch. The breakage load of the lock in a closed position BMST = 4500 N. The internal return spring in all versions is made of stainless steel.
